Language help

Postby Max232 » 26 Mar 2006, 16:26

Hey guys, I was wondering if you could help me out. I'm in the middle of writing something and I have a doubt.

In italian is it possible to say:

"Qualche dì dope, tutto andave bene come avanti - mi occupave degli animali senza nessun problema - finché, metre pulive la gabbia dell' uccello, il cane è scappata dalla casa....

In italian can we say "gabbia dell'uccello" to mean "Birdcage" ? :?

I think you mean:

Qualche giorno ("dì" is an old form, not very used) dopo, tutto andava bene come prima - mi occupavo degli animali senza nessun problema - finché, mentre stavo pulendo (=while I was cleaning?) la gabbia dell'uccello, il cane scappò di casa

Anyway your italian is very good! :D

Regards
Tommaso
