Civil records in the comune of Zeri start on 1866,for the priors years the research can be done to ARCHIVIO DI STATO DI MASSA - Sezione di PONTREMOLI ex Convento S.S. Annunziata 54027 - PONTREMOLI (MS) Tel e Fax 0187/831559 Yours truly Tina Tomaselli(civil records section)
Thank you so very much for your translation.
Do you think it means that the records pre 1866 are held in Pontremoli at an office that used to be a convent?
I would like to do further research ie check that my great grandfather's brother is listed as this would then confirm I definately have the correct family.
PS I am female (but realise that I didn't put my title - just my name)
