Can someone please help with Italian translation

Postby sbollin » 07 Sep 2006, 19:07

I used Babelfish to translate the following. Can someone please take a look at it to make sure it translated correctly. Thank you for your help.

My grandmother Anna Busalacchi was born in Sant’Elia in 1884. She married Vincenzo Dentici of Palermo in 1903.
La mia nonna Anna BUSALACCHI è stata sopportata in Sant'Elia in 1884. Ha sposato Vincenzo Dentici di Palermo in 1903.

Anna lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin until her death in 1968.
Anna ha vissuto in Milwaukee, Wisconsin fino alla sua morte in 1968.

Anna’s father was Sebastiano Busalacchi born in Porticello in 1835. Anna’s mother was Gaetana Busalacchi born in Sant’Elia in 1843. Other children born of this family were Rosalia, Maria, Francesca, Salvatore, Lucrezia and Franca.

If you are related to Anna Busalacchi through your own family, then I would appreciate any information about her, our shared family, or any relatives still living today.
Se lei è imparentato con Anna Busalacchi attraverso la sua famiglia, apprezzerei ogni informazione su di lei, sulla nostra stessa famiglia o se ci sono dei parenti ancora viventi.

I noticed that your grandmother was born in Sant'Elia, was that Sant'Elia Fiumerapido Frosinone? I am researching my grandparent's family and they came from Sant'Elia Fiumerapido. At the moment I have the micro films on loan for Sant'Elia Fiumerapido for the following years,:
Births: 1830-1837, 1850-1857, 1857-1865, 1877-1892
Marriages: 1860-1879, 1880-1889
Deaths 1860-1882
so if there is anything you would like me to look up just let me know, I'll be going back to the Family History Centre next Tuesday.

Hi,

Laura's English to Italian translation is pretty much OK apart from 'nata in Sant'Elia' should be 'nata a Sant'Elia' and it is better to have 'Anna tramite la sua famiglia'.

Best wishes
