Another Record...

Postby nuccia » 15 Feb 2007, 07:35

Can someone translate this for me?

Angilletta Edit Birth Act

I can't seem to link the original scan to you. I'll try later if you need it.

My questions are: Is this child illegitimate and what do the notations on the right hand side say/mean? I know the scans are not the best but it was scanned by someone other then myself since the snow storm has kept me from the FHC. Hope someone can make it out.

Thanks..

Could you please link to the original scan? The picture is almost unreadable.

Thanks Suanj! I appreciate the translation.

I never though Angilletta was a name that would have been given to foundlings (I thought the more common ones were obvious) but I have now found a few of these records. Something I need to look into it I guess...

I think the first name could be Fabrizio??? I know its a horrible copy but the film was so dark. I will try to link a better copy after I've played with it some more. A friend (you know who you are and Thanks) took several scans for me last week. I just haven't had a chance to go through them all yet.

Late for work....
