Proper pronunciation

Post by FDooks »

Good afternoon all!

My last name is D'Amore.

How would you actually pronounce that however? My cousin told me it was pronoced (Dee-amore-eh). I was told from another Italian that it is pronounced (Duh-more-eh). My grandmother pronounced it like my cousin did.

Please let me know. Thanks!
Looking for information on the names:
D'Amore, DeLuca, Cordova, Russo, Petrino, DiGiacomo

Any help is greatly appreciated.
