the more eyes, the better -- what the heck does this say?

This is a passenger manifest, so it's not Italian, but I'm having trouble reading the scrawl. Also, if it's Bosi or Posi (what it looks like to me), what is that a nickname for?

This is Giovanni Zappala going to stay with his uncle ? Zappala at 425 E. 14th St. in 1899.

Haven't been able to pursue this branch of the family because I can't read it.

One possibility:
Cosimo - Cos on 1st line, imo continued before the address..
Possible relatives at a different address in 1900
1900 census

Ahhhh...Cosimo. Could it be?

John would be the cousin on the 1900 census at that address. And he was a barber. It could fit.

What is that address, anyhow? It looks like...210 3rd Ave?

And the head of the family, is that a Pasquale? It's got some notes written over it, so it's hard to see... I can read Concetta. Is that Nazarena as the mom?

Exciting!
