Response from commune, translation help needed

Postby tayelof » 21 Apr 2008, 13:16

I got a response from a commune by e-mail regarding a death record I requested for, can someone please help translate. Thanks

Egr. Sig.

Dear Mr,
in order to provide you the estratto dell'atto di morte of your father we need either the birth or the death full date (day, month, year). The birth year alone does not allow us to identify with precision the individual also because he comune of Priario was suppressed in the years between 1929 and 1958 and merged with the comune of Villa d'Ogna , it is therefore impossible that mr....... is known in this comune.
Greetings....

I got this response back from the commune with the attachment of the certificate. Please help translate and will the print out of the certificate be enough at the consulate. Thanks all.

Distinti saluti.

Just wondering how much the commune's charge for sending you a birth, death, or marriage certificate?
