Not all parishes records have survived. Parish of S. Maria has baptism from 1895 only Marriages are sparse. 1919 isn't available. Other parishes are better.
What has survived is at the Church of San Rocco.
There used to be more than one parish but now there is only one.

Pofi's official website includes this page which lists local churches.

Here is the same page translated into English by google.

The most current churches in Pofi are listed in www.parrocchie.it and put in Pofi on the right side for the five churches with addresses and the one with a elephone number is most likely to have a priest in residence. =Peter=

All the records are kept at the Church of San Rocco which is not the parish church. I was there. Searching them.

San Rocco is one of the five churches listed in the www.parrocchie.it website and that is the same church that has a telephone number with a presumably, resident priest. =Peter=

Should I write them and if so how should I word the letter if I'm looking for records?

When writing it might be wise to offer a donation for any clerical expenses the good local priest may incur in obtaining the information for you as well as cover mailing and copying expenses. Some priests are not inclined to assist while others are very cooperative so best make the offer right away.

I would not send money upfront but I would rather offer to pay any expenses and wait for an answer from the priest.

Dear Conti 832 I am sorry that I was jumped before I had a chance to answer your question since I had mentioned offering a donation but some people do not read anything previous and just jump in willy nilly.

In any event should you run into any difficulty please let me know so that we can take it to the next step in the church chain as it were. =Peter=
