Roma vs Latina Province

Postby aristides » 09 Sep 2009, 18:04

My family comes from Cori, Norma and Roccamassima. During the mid-1800s these communes were located in Roma Province. Now, they are in Latina Province. In what year did the provinces change? Is there a document I can reference?

As always, thanks for you help. You guys are great.

1934 when Mussolini drained the Pontine marshes. It is interesting to note that at that time the word EUR came into being as a new nearby upscale neighborhhod was created with that name. Just a thought. =Peter=
