I am trying to locate the names of all cemetaries in San Leonardo, Ortona, Chieti, and in Ortona itself.

There is some good general information on cemeteries in this thread: http://italiangenealogy.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=10892/

Basically, cemeteries are owned and managed by the comune and that is where records are maintained. Also, unless a family had wealth or status, the odds are that the deceased's remains were removed from the gravesite after some number of years and placed in a comunal burial crypt containing the bones of hundreds of persons.

My hobby is finding things. Having found most of my own, I am happy to help others find theirs. PM me! :)
