I am currently researching my grandmother's family from Italy. I know she was from the north and pretty sure her family was near Turin and in the Piedmont region. One record of her father shows his home as Prione, Italy but I can't seem to find anything. Her father's name was Celeste Musatto, born 1854 and her mother's name was Constanza Scribantie, born 1865. They were married in Italy in 1888 and arrived in American in 1893. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I think the place could be Briona which is in Piedmont in the province of Novara. Many relatives of mine, who were from a town near Briona, went to Osage City, KS then moved to Missouri and went to Centerville, Iowa. I could see that they used to move all to the same places. I suppose they were telling each other where they requesting miners.
