Birth Place for Teresa Zanoni

Post by trevisan2 »

I can't seem to figure out this place name listed for
Teresa Zanoni born 16 August 1889
Married to Luigi Benetti
Died in California in 1970

It reads something like Carongo, Italy
on her Naturalzaton papers

Thank You,

I agree, Marty :-)

She lists "Carzago Riviera" on the manifest - Line 17 - Columns for "place of birth" and "Last residence"
Also indicates leaving sister Pierina Zannoni at "Padenghi Riviera, Brescia"

The other town is now PADENGHE SUL GARDA. As the name says this town is located by the Garda Lake and Carzago Riviera is 4 miles far. I've been in that area quite often in the past as my paternal ancestors lived and had properties in a nearby town.
