Termini

Post by jcira »

I am always stuck at this spot in my search. My great grandparents I was told came from termini. The only record I can find here is the 1930 census. I am looking for nick cira or chira and his wife Maria longo. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

Possible 1890 manifest, Nicola travelling with brother Domenico and father Leonardo (note the 1904 death record from above shows father's name as "Leo Nato" Cira). Last three names on page.

His name Leonardo was corrupted to Leo Nato. Since the family on the 1890 ship manifest did not show a woman travelling with the group, it's possible that Nicola's mother was deceased. Finding a 1900 census for father Leonardo and sons Nicola and Domenico might help verify some assumptions.
