Trying to find a place called Borello Ramagano, Italy

Postby Theresa2006 » 04 Apr 2006, 00:49

Hello,

I'm new to this message board and anything about Italy.
I am doing a family tree and in an obit on a G-Aunt it shows that she was
born Borello Ramagano, Italy. I know one of the other children (Ggrandmother) was born in USA.
I can't seem to find this place so I'm thinking the spelling or info is wrong.
This line came to the USA between 1904 - 1906.
Hoping someone could tell me where and the name of this place is in Italy.
I'm so lost. Thanks for reading.

Hi Riccardo,

I guess I was right the obit info was wrong as it showing Borello Ramagano, Italy.
Below is all I do know about the lines I'm trying to find where they were from.

Luigi BIANCHI b. July 09, 1865 Italy married Marianna ROMBOLI b. abt.1871

children:

1. Catherina BIANCHI - no dates

2. R. R. BIANCHI - no dates

3. Delina BIANCHI b. April 10, 1893 ( obit shows born Borello Ramagano, Italy)

4. Eduardo or "Edward" BIANCHI b. February 05, 1897

5. Dena BIANCHI b. August 09, 1900

6. Erma BIANCHI b. October 30, 1907 USA.

Believe all children except the last one was born in Italy.
I hope this is enough for some kind of clues.
Thank You for posting to my post I really appreciate it.

Theresa

Here there are your ancestor names booked on the ship for a trip on 1905, but since the names are crossed (from line 9 to 14) they didin't leave
They are coming from Forlì. Borello is a municipality belonging to province of Forlì. Your DELINA is ADELINA. Your Marianna ROMBOLI is RAMBOLI

http://ellisisland.org/search/shipManif ... 2448090484

for civil records you can write to

Comune
Ufficio di Stato Civile
Piazza S. Pietro In Solferino, 465
47022 Borello (FC)
Italy

I hope it helps, bye Riccardo
