I see it on the manifests, where exactly is that? I find hotel names but no actual town. Stumped again!

the town, currently is Altofonte, but until 1930 the town name was Parco; Altofonte is in Palermo province, Sicily.. best regards, suanj

Ciao si! questo paese è "Altofonte"! 15 km circa da Palermo io ho vissuto li.Si trova proprio di fronte a "Monreale" lungo la strada che va a "San Giuseppe Jato" e a "Piana degli Albanesi" tutti paesi attorno a Palermo, consosco bene la zona...
I tuoi parenti sono nati a Altofonte?

Some of my family are DiMatteo's. I understand many DiMatteo's are from that town. I am waiting to view the LDS micro film to verify my relatives are from there but I know some are from Trabia.
