Is there a city named Rocco?

I have a family letter from Torino abt 1938. The letter has been translated twice. One says 'replying to your letter from Rocco" the other other says "Replying to your letter to Rocca"

My quetsion is...is Rocco/a more likely a city or a woman's name?

Rocco is a man's name. I don't know if it is a nickname or a formal name, but I know two men with the name Rocco.

Rocco is a formal man's name. I have found many birth records with that name. We also had family members with that name. Rocco is also a section in SAN BARTOLOMEO (Torino).
