Why did I get this message when going on ItalianGenealogy today?

It said:

internal server error the server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request

Error type 500

What was the problem?

It had been happening for about 24 hours.... Something happened on the server... Most likely a problem with the server that wasn't found and corrected until today.
