Argentine Immigration Records

Post by kangaroo_ch »

Hi, is there a source on the internet where i can view a Argentine Immigration Record of a possible relative? I found him on the Argentina National Census, 1895 for Modesto Dacomo.

His immigration record number is DACOMO Immigration Record D250.

Thank you

Hi, Modesto Dacomo settled in first time in Brazil and after moved in Argentina:

MODESTO DACOMO SOZINHO 22/09/1890 ITALIANA (Modesto Dacomo single arrived the 22 sep 1890- ethnicity : Italian)

the search in Brazil arrivals, it is by a suggestion because only 2 Dacomo arrived in Argentina by ship, and the port of departure was in Brasil:

no more Dacomo in Argentina database by Agnelli database http://213.212.128.168/radici/ie/defaultie.htm
for that I searched in Brazil arrivals and I found the Modesto Dacomo that can be your ancestor; most probably he moved in Argentina between the 1890 and the 1895...

Hi Suanj,

thank you for your help. Is there a way to find out when he died in Argentina. Do they have online records?

Regards
Anton
