translation needed

Postby italianashville » 19 Jan 2011, 20:15

My grandfather's 1885 birth record includes a description of his apparel. The phrases "un panno di acira" and "una cinta di vagramma" are clearly written. Are "acira" and "vagramma" archaic or dialectic terms? What do they refer to?
The document image in question can be found at "bambino's apparel" in the Language, Handwriting, Script, and Translation folder.

The only reference I could find for Vagramma is here ... le&sid=924 and it refers to a kind of fabric (cloth).
