Would like to wish you well Bob with the new forum.

I've just sent the link to my cousin who has been trying to trace her ancestors in Ireland.

Good Luck
God Bless

Hi Nuccia
All I know about Ireland was when I was there on my 'Honeymoon' - long time ago:lol:
But the site looks good - thought Edmondo posted that there would be one for Scotland too? or am I mistaken? cant remember where I read it!!

ps. Doctor said today its OK for me to travel to France. Now just need to organise tickets etc. They're all excited about me finally making up my mind to go. Hope they have the flags out when I get there!!!

I can setup websites for other European countries like Scotland too but I always need a volunteer administrator, if you are interested let me know!

emmy that's great news! I know this will be good for you. :D

As for the other site...well there are questions about Scotland too so give it a try..we need you. Maybe you want the volunteer admin position if Edmondo sets up a Scottish forum???

Edmondo, about the edit button...glad it wasn't my imagination! Thought I was losing it there for a while.

Good luck on all your forums..I know they will do well.

As for getting back to the topic of preparing for diaster...I email myself everything important to a private email account used only for this type of thing. This way if anything gets lost or destroyed I have access to it from any computer. I use gmail since it has a large amount of storage space and it frees up my PC...
