Hi Rita,

The FHL has filmed the civil records (1866-1935) for Lucca, Lucca, Italy. These are the original birth, marriage, & death acts. Here is a link to the available films.

Due to the Italian naming traditions, it is recommended that you know your immigrate ancestor's parents names.

Thank you! I will look at the films and see if they help me. I do not know much about my family, since my Grandfather passed away before my Mom and Dad were married. I will see if I can find anymore information at my Mom's house.
