Looking in the phone book, there are 14 listings for Todaro in S. Cipirello and 7 in San Giuseppe Jato. The two comunes are right next to each other. The fact that his first name is Nicholas (Nicolo) might very likely indicate he was Arberesh, Masi is very common in some of the Arberesh comunes in Sicily.
