Carmita, It is great to hear from you. Hear is the information I have on your great great grandfather Alberto Quenqui. He was born August 1868 in Trapani and died August 29th, 1948 in New Orleans. Hello Riccardo, If it is possible I would greatly appreciate if you could locate any records for Girolamo Arceri DOB 1825 in Trapani I believe he died bet. 1860-1886. Francesca Bianco DOB 1831 Date of Marriage bet. 1847-1849 to Girolamo Arceri. She died I believe in the early 1900's also in Trapani....

I have a question re. Alberto Quenqua(i) he married Carmela Arceri in Trapani, Sicily 7/15/1886 and then they came to Louisiana the following month. Between 1900-1910 they got a divorce. Would they have filed divorce papers in Trapani or in Louisiana.

Hello, My GGGrandmother was Vincenza Bravata born in or near Mezzojuso, Sicily. She was born abt. 1860 and came to the US in abt. 1900. I am working on researching farther back.

I do not know what town she is from. My GGrandmother was born in Mezzojuso. I don't have much other information on them.
