Calabrian/Sicilian Marriage Certificate

Does anyone know where I can find marriage documents for Calabria or Sicily? I am looking for the document for the marriage of Letterio Forame/Forami to Giuseppa Caminiti. Their children were born in Roccalumera, Sicilia, but I am not sure if they were married or born there as well.

La famiglia di Forami

Ciao e buon natale! Does anyone know any Forami from Messina, Sicilia? My bisnonno was born there in 1888 in Roccalumera. I am trying to find relatives in Italia, but I have had no luck. I know that Francesco, my bisnonno's father was named Letterio Forami and I do not know where he was born. Grazie...

Re: The name Letterio

I did a little research. Name Day/Onom...

Roccalumera and Letojanni, Sicily

Hello does anyone have any relatives in these two towns? I am having trouble finding information on them. The Forame/Forami's are from Roccalumera and the Lagana's are from Letojanni. Can anyone help me with information?

Thanks,
Giacomo

Can anyone help me figure out what the Forame surname means? I know that they are from Letojanni, Messina, Sicily, Italy.

Also, does anyone know how I can trace my ancestry back to italy? I wrote a letter in Italian and it was never responded to.

Re: Fannie Lacovaro

Wow, my 3rd great grandfather was murdered in his store? There might have been two John Lacovaro's in DC--one a grocer; the other a tailor. Fannie's father was a tailor aka Charles not a grocer. If someone could post the entire article, we might find some answers. Biff John Lacovaro was Charles' so...
