awesome! I could make out barely enough to know I had the correct birth certificate... I hope to produce a translated version of this, to keep with a copy of this... so both can be viewed by future generations...

cool. I'll check to see if my local genealogical society has that book. in the mean time.. if there is anyone who can help me decifer the handwritten parts... I'd appreciate it... I can't read that hand writting to save my life! oy. *smacks forehead*

great great grandfathers birth cert

I would appreciate any help in the full translation of this birth cert. I had to take pictures of it and then piece those together, as my local LDS center doesn't have the film viewers that can photocopy as well. so I did my best with my camera and photoshop. and now I need help. thanks to all those...

Fredoniapeaches, that would be Frank and Sam. Frank just died recently in Arizona at I believe the ripe old age of 97 ! did you try finding a death certificate? the town clerk in the area that they passed will have a death certifcate... usually about $10 by mail or in person... and whom ever the family member that helped to fill out the cert, if they knew... where they were born will be on it.

i can not get a jpeg of this birth cert that I have for my gggrandfather... is there someone willing to give me their email address to send it to, that can translate it for me? I can not read some of the old style hand writing to be able to translate it.
