The most important issue regarding naturalization is was your grandparent born "before" your GGF was naturalized?
If so then you're good! Any child born after naturalization, no longer has Jure sanguine.

The USCIS and Census records do not need translation. However you will need a letter from each county clerk that your Direct descendent lived in stating "no record of naturalization found" . Those letters I had translated to be safe.

Citizenship Oath of Allegiance
Has anyone recently had a spouse take the oath for Italian Citizenship after a successful application? My wife has been approved and we would like to know what the procedure/experience was. Her letter should arrive any day.

It would be the day of your wife's appointment. Email the consulate and ask for the K10/C number and the date they sent in the Application. It should be the same day as the appointment. They should also give you the instructions for using the site. For example, You will select "Estero" in ...
