The Anna Trapani that I have in my tree is the daughter of Joseph from Alcamo and Nancy. Anna was born in 1898 in NY and died in 1984 in NJ. She was married to Donald Vitulli.

Attached is the marriage record for Francesco Minore Cavataio to Agata LoGeloso on 1 May 1569 in Carini. I would greatly appreciate a translation to English. Are their ages listed? I believe the parents are Antonino or Nicola Cavataio and Domenica Matracia.

Ada - Thanks for the information. That makes it difficult to find the church record of marriage. I'll have to look prior to 1874 when the first daughter was born. That would make his wife 19 years old at the daughter's birth. Guess that's not too far fetched.

We just returned from Sicily and discovered an interesting fact. The street name on my grandfather's birth certificate was not actually the street. It was the name of the house that he lived in. Delisi was the owner. So, his birth record said his residence was Via Delisi. The actual street name was ...

We just returned from Sicily. You were right, we were not successful in finding any specific gravesites. However, the experience was wonderful. Cemetery records, where we looked, only began in 1929. Their cemeteries are huge!!! It was exciting just to be there and see the gravesites in person.
