Can you tell me if you have received documents from the Italian Consulate regarding my request for naturalization? Sincerely, any...

Re: Appointment in Boston. Success? YES! Updated Dec 17
That's the form I am using. No doubt my mom will freak out when she reads the line about "the undersigned will also obtain his/her own recognition of Italian citizenship". No doubt momma will think we are trying to ship her back to the old country

And what exactly is this declaration of living ascendant? I will no doubt have other questions as I plan to file wit...

Re: Newark Application Requirements?
I would certainly check on this as I was under the impression the documents required had to go to Rome for approval and I would think the Italians would want translations of the English docus?

Re: Italian Army
Thanks Chris.. we compiled an email similar to yours as the angel page seems a bit dated and didn't really address the business of emails and didn't have (or I couldn't find) a draft of an email regarding a foglio matricolare
thanks again
thanks again

Re: Need some help obtaining a figlio matricolare from Napol
thanks juan I have already sent letters to Saviano for both birth and marriage records but I was under the impression that military records were by district? Pretty sure the district for Saviano would be Napoli. But I do believe I tracked the address down for both email and sending a written letter....

Need some help obtaining a figlio matricolare from Napoli
My maternal grandfather came from Saviano and I understand it is possible to obtain his 'figlio matricolare' records by emailing the Archivio di stato di macerata in Napoi.. does anyone have the email addie for this?
I would also like a sample of what I should say (in Italian of course) .
TIA
