He did get a WW1 war bonus of $68.30. Was not aware of that genealogy website. Too bad that I was not into family trees when he was alive. I could have asked him as I was 33 when he died.

World War 1 Pensions
My grandfather, Salvatore Puma, served in the Army during World War 1 and I was told that he received a small pension for his service. Did all WW1 veterans receive a pension or only those that were wounded in battle? His service record says that he was not wounded, but this site has previously told ...

Donato Ninivaggi
I have attached the 1820 Altamura birth record of Donato Ninivaggi. Looking for marriage and death records for him, plus birth records of any children. He possibly had a son or grandson also named Donato Ninivaggi who emigrated to America and that person was a cousin of my grandfather who came to li...

Re: Date of Birth and Parents names
Yes, he died in 1957 not 1954.
After opening up your link, it won't let me view any of the other links shown. Does his birth or death records show his parents?

Re: Incomplete Death Certificate
Agreed.
Is there an allegati record that gives his year born and/or his marriages especially with confirmation of his parents' names? I can never find allegati records because I can't read Italian unless it is in a limited, repetitive, formatted document.

Re: translate Marriage Record
Livio, if both the father and grandfather of the bride were each 61 years old when they died and they died only 8 years apart, that would mean that the grandfather was only 8 years old when his son was born. That's not possible.
I think that the grandfather was 86, not 61 when he died. Correct?

Re: translate Marriage Record
Thanks Livio. I still need help. 1. In the following Allegati link further on from the page you sent me, I can make out everything except the name of the deceased person. Also, is this deceased person the first wife of the groom? https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/12657/an_ua412270/wl7BnlM 2. On t...

Incomplete Death Certificate
The following Antenati link, on the left page of a two page spread, gives the death details of Giuseppe Gullo including his parents, but not his age at the time of death nor his spouse who I believe was Epifiana Felice from other Trees, but no back up documentation. Family Search has him listed with...

Re: Theresa/Teresa Lorusso Birth Record
Not worth paying money to get records when I have over 71,000 people on my tree. Gets too expensive. I just wanted to verify the spelling of her first name as either Teresa or Theresa. You did that for me. Thanks. I also took a photo of her name in the index log you sent me. She used Theresa most of...

Re: Theresa/Teresa Lorusso Birth Record
Thank you. You gave me what I wanted to know - the correct spelling of her first name. How did you get to the entry (Vol 45, page 574) you gave me in your reply from the link you gave me?

Same Person
Is the husband, Angelo Rosina, in the two church marriage attachments the same person? Though the marriages are 30 years apart, the groom's parents are the same. In both cases, the bride is a Puma.
