Need help finding info on Cipriani

so.....pink67, you were spot on right, the census taker misspelled the name, my gr. grandfather divorced my gr. grandmother and remarried a woman named theresa, and had another son named john, and a daughter named lucile, so this census, is, in fact, my gr. grandfather. as is the man in the cemetery, and on the ww1 draft form. the only place i see the birth year of 1884 is on the wwii registration card, i am wondering if the card was filled out by a federal employee who got the date wrong. the census report matches the wwi draft card, and the cemetery info, which my mom confirmed, so thanks!

and you're lucky because the Mormons microfilmed the Civil Registration for the Comune of Sammichele di Bari:

So you can find a Family History center near your house and ask them if you can rent the microfilm about :

It only requires a one time registration.
5 pages of listings for Cipriani, one for a Philip estimated birth as 1891.

From this site there is a babyboy Cipriani born dead on December 24, 1922...( ...sad, just one day before Christmas...)..

there is a branch very near my house, i will go this week! how exciting, if i am able to find his birth info this is information no one in my family has, you are good laura! also, that is certainly my grandfathers older brother, his mother's name was sadie, although i spoke to my mom, and her real name was jane sadie warner, she did actually marry my gr. grandfather, so she would have taken his name, so the search is n for her now!!! thanks again!

I know this post is old, but I believe the Phillip Cipriani you are looking for could be my great grandfather. He had 2 sons named John (different mothers). They were half brothers to my grandmother & her brother. (Yes, a third mother) She passed away in 1985. Her brother is alive & well.
