I cant thank you enough, I think you hit it on the head, no this is my neighbors family who I got into a discussion with when I bought a thick old book on Italy Illustrated, said the info she came across was all in Italian.
I will run this by her & press her for more details on census, military, etc.

On the Family Search site, there is also a death certificate for a Vincenzo Tolasssi, address 808 S. 8th? St, father Giuseppe and mother Carmela, in July of 1902.
