Looking for Tonsoni and DaPrato Italian surnames

I am looking for imformation regarding the Tonsoni and DaPrato families. My great grandfather Giovanni Tonsoni immigrated to the United States in 1897. His family is from Camporgiano Italy and his mother was Caroline DaPrato. They immigrated to Chicago and worked for the DaPrato statuary company. In 1901 they bought 400 acres of land in Indiana. I am looking for any information about these families. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you so much for this information. I have some data but have never seen the actual marriage licenses and did not have the place of marriage. It was very interesting and really appreciated. The cost is about $6 mo (rent), you’ll need to go to the center to order & view them.

I have found some new information about Carolina DaPrato. She was born in 1841 in Barga province of Lucca. Records show she was the daughter of Giuseppe Da Prato and Enrichetta Gonella di Lorenzo. Her Godmother was the wife of Giovanni DaPrato. I also know that her family came to America to work at the DaPrato Statuary company in Chcago Illinois at the turn of the century. Stories state that they came to work with relatives at the DaPrato statuary company. Looking for any information on the family of Carolina.

Hello, My grandfather was Peitro Guiseppe DaPrato from Barga he was born the 22nd of January, 1984. I would like to know any information regarding the family. I know that he had three brothers, Serafino, Francesco and Ulysse. His mother's name was Maria Ghiloni.
