Brienza: what town

My grandmother is the only Brienza in a small town Monteleone di Puglia (foggia). where did this family/name originate from? <BR>also, my greatgrandfather worked in the U.S for quite some years? How do I track that down? <BR>my grandmother was too small to remember. he died when she was small and she never bothered to ask her mother. <BR>please advise. <BR>
