Mercaldi/Buanno surnames from Piedimonte Alife region

Is anyone out there doing a search in the Piedimonte region? I need guidance<IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_smile.gif"> Looking for any info regarding surnames Mercaldi, Buanno (Buonno). Related surnames include Mastrangelo, Pettriccione (cousins). My grandfather, Luigi, came to america 19 Sep 1911 at the age of six, on the Hamburg. His mothers name was Rosina Buanno. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanx!

Since you know the town of orogin from ellis island records go to www.paginebianche.it and insert names and town in third line and click cerca. Peter
