Does anyone know of a site or resource to determine the meanings of Italian surmnames? <BR> <BR>My son needs the information for a school project and I have no information on my family\'s surname. Any help would be appreciated. <BR> <BR>

Hi, I found sites by entering \"Italian\", \"surnames\" on search engines. a lot of stuff comes up. Two that were particularly useful to me were www.angelfire.com and www.arduini.net/names. As I tried to extrapolate what the meaning of my surname was, I found things that I could eliminate as well as confirm facts. Also, www.cindislist.com is a goldmine when it comes to genealogy.
