Are you familiar with the LDS Family History Centers?

The Mormon Church (LDS) has microfilmed civil records from Busso (1809 - 1910). These include births, marriages, deaths, etc.

You should write your request in Italian. Help with letters...

The second was born on 22 AUG 1884, the son of Domenico Albanese and Mariantonia Ranallo. Source: Busso (Campobasso). Ufficio dello Stato Civile, Registri dello Stato Civile, 1809-1910, FHL INTL Film 1732872/NATI 1884/Numero 62, 26 AUG 1884. I believe that this is your Grandfather. The date of birth matches that of the WWI and WWII draft registration cards that Tessa posted above (as well as on the other thread), which cards appear to be those of your Grandfather.

The birth record of your Grandfather did not include the given name of your Great Grandmother, only her surname - Ranallo. However, the birth records of other, earlier born children did include her given name - Mariantonia.
