I genitori di Angelo furono Antonio Cecere e Giuseppa D'Ambrosio di Valva, Italia. Aveva un fratello Michael che è venuto anche negli Stati Uniti. Non sono sicuro se egli aveva una sorella o no. Mi puoi dare ulteriori informazioni su questa famiglia?

Io sono Gina, sono nata a Valva, adesso abito in un paese vicino; sò soltanto che la mia bisnonna si chiamava Giuseppa. Purtroppo mia nonna, Maria Cecere, il marito ed i suoi quattro figli: Antonietta, Donato, Martino (mio padre) e Semplicia sono tutti morti. Devo andare all'Anagrafe del Comune di Valva per ulteriori informazioni.Di questo zio Angelo Cecere sò che aveva molti figli, quattro sono venuti in Italia negli anni '70. Prima Luigi Cecere con la moglie ed i figli: Albert, Margareth, Marilù e Pider.Qualche anno dopo tre figlie di Angelo Cecere: Maria e due sorelle di cui non ricordo il nome. Io ho una foto insieme a loro scattata a Sorrento; ho anche una foto di tutta la famiglia di Angelo Cecere, probabilmente l'avevano inviata a mia nonna tanti anni fa ed io l'ho conservata per avere un ricordo di questi parenti che vivevano lontano dall'Italia. Se vuole le posso inviare entrambe le foto.

Sì siamo collegati. Albert, louis e Maria erano mio grande zie e gli zii. Io sono un pronipote di Angelo e vivo a Buffalo, New York vicino a Niagara Falls. Ho mai di nuovo il mio bisnonno aveva una sorella. Morì quando ero un bambino. Lui e sua moglie Adeline ebbero 13 figli. Anthony, Albert, Joseph, Richard, William, Adeline, Edna, Mary, Victor, Donald, Delores, Lester, Louis. Angelo si stabilì in una città piccola estrazione del sale e correva una taverna ed era un barbiere. Ha lavorato per suo zio Giuseppe ed alla fine acquistò la taverna da lui. C'è anche una menzione di un cugino Vito Cecere che visse con lui. Ho recentemente diventato aquanted con la figlia grande Vito attraverso un forum diverso. Voi avete ulteriori informazioni su Giuseppe e Vito.


Sto cercando di mettere insieme un albero genealogico e gradirei tutte le informazioni sui nostri parenti in Italia che è possibile fornire. Cercherò di allegare una vecchia foto di famiglia presa negli anni trenta


Sono stato a nord Italia un paio di volte e vorrei visitare Valva qualche tempo. Speriamo che potremmo incontrare. Se si visita mai Stati Uniti siete benvenuti qui.

Yes we are related. Albert, louis and Mary were my great aunts and uncles. I am a great grandson of Angelo and live in Buffalo, NY near Niagara Falls. I never new my great grandfather had a sister. He died when I was an infant. He and his wife Adeline had 13 children. Anthony, Albert, Joseph, Richard, William, Adeline, Edna, Mary, Victor,Donald, Delores, Lester, Louis. Angelo settled in a small salt mining town and ran a tavern and was a barber. He worked for his Uncle Giuseppe and eventually bought the tavern from him. There is also a mention of a cousin Vito Cecere that lived with him. I recently became aquanted with Vito's grand daughter through a different forum. Do you have more information about Giuseppe and Vito.

I am trying to put together a family tree and would appreciate all the information about our relatives in Italy that you can provide. I will try to attach an old family photo taken in the 1930s

I have been to northern Italy a couple of times and would like to visit Valva sometime. Hopefully we could meet. If you ever visit the United States you are welcome here.
