Ok, Zach - here is the birth of Michelangelo Palmieri in 1899

Appearing before the official was Girolamo Palmieri, age 28, farmer residing in Casteltermini; to declare that at 3 AM on the 24th of the current month, and the place at Via Carmelo, to Vincenza Panepinto, his wife, seamstress, living with him, was born a male child to whom was given the name Michelangelo.
Winesses to the recording of the birth act:
Vincenzo De Sanctis, 41, clerk; and Biagio La Rosa, 40, messenger.

INTERESTINGLY, while searching for this record... came across another PANEPINTO (born a month before)- but not sure if he relates to your family (or if I posted it before). Posting the record for you -

Decided to search for the marriage of Girolamo Palmieri and Vincenza Panepinto

Found their Marriage Banns Publication...

Left side indicates that the banns were posted on consecutive Sundays of 5 July and 12 July, and then again on 16 July. They were probably married on 19 July. Will look for the record

Hi Tessa,

How are you? You seem to have a lot of knowlege about the records from Casteltermini, I was hoping you could help me out, I have hit a wall!

My finacee's grandmother was Concetta Denti born December 5, 1914 in Casteltermini to Giuseppe Vincenzo Gaspare Denti & Giuseppa Picilli.

I found Giuseppe Vincenzo Gaspare Denti's birth record on May 17, 1892 in Casteltermini, and discovered his parents were Gennaro Denti and Concetta Mazzarella. I have found what I believe are all his siblings. It appeats that all the Denti's that i can find are connected to this family.

I can not find anything on Giuseppa Picilli. She died in 1918, which prompted her husband to come to the US with his daughter a few years behind.

They would have married prior to 1914, as Concetta was thier only child. I would imagine that Giuseppa would have been born after 1892 but before 1900 to marry and have a child by 1914, but I can't seem to find her!

Any help would be appreciated!

I've made a new discovery! Thanks to the Michigan, Death Certificates, 1921-1952 (transcriptions only) that became available on familysearch.org, I have found Antonina Termini! All we had previously was her birth transcription on familysearch.org.

She married ______ Lomanto.

Antonina Termini Lomanto died 15 February 1941 in Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan, and is buried in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery with her brother, Cruciano Termini! The discoveries never end!

Antonina immigrated to the United States in 1914 and went to Oakmont, WV. She came with her daughter Rosa Lamonto who was born about 1896 --- I'm sure she was born in Casteltermini. Antonina was shown as widowed on her 1914 immigration manifest.

Can you find anything on Antonina Termini's marriage to _____ Lomanto and Rosa's birth or other kids?

Found the marriage of Michelangelo Lo Manto and Antonina Termini in 1883 in Casteltermini...

Dated 22 October 1883 at noon at the town office in Casteltermini
Groom: Michelangelo Lo Manto, age 35, laborer, born and residing in Casteltermini; son of father unknown, and of Francesca Lo Manto, residing in Casteltermini
Bride: Antonina Termini, age 22, seamstress, born and residing in Casteltermini; daughter of Vincenzo, residing in Casteltermini; and of Carmella Ballone, residing in Casteltermini.
Witnesses: Boniface La Rose, 46, clerk; Francesco De Sanctis, 27, clerk

At this marriage, the couple asked for the recognition of their 2 children:
First, a female, given the name Francesca, born 29 October 1877
Second, a male, given the name Salvatore, born 2 December 1880

So now you have names of Antonina's husband, her parents, his mother, and 3 of their children

Will try to find any children born between Salvatore (1880) and Rosa (1896)...

I have Vincenzo Termini and Maria Carmela Ballone had 4 kids so far:

Philomena Termini Ferlisi (1856-1935)
Antonina Termini LoManto (1861-1941)
Salvatore Termini (circa 1863-____)
Cruciano Termini (1874-1950).

Not sure if there were others yet, but my guess would be that there were others. Vincenzo and Maria Carmela Ballone Termini were referenced as still living in Casteltermini on 30 March 1900 when Philomena finally married Giovanni Ferlisi. Is there a way you might be able to find when they died? I can't remember if you looked before. I'm assuming they were born roughly no later than 1836, but possibly sooner.

So I took a look through the indexes and Death acts from 1900 through 1910 (that is all that is available online at this time) They do not appear.
So, maybe they passed after 1910
