Looking for LIBERATORE family

I am seeking information regarding the Liberatore family. Specifically Bellisario born 1854. He is shown in the 1920 census Suffolk, Massachusetts, Ward 5, part of precinct 2 ,Boston city. He is living with his son Nicola Liberatore and wife Rosaria and children Ettore, Bellisario, Fredirico, and Mary, William, Wilson, and Anthony.

I believe he arrived too early for the 1892 records of Ellis island. naturalization in the census states 1900 for both Nicola and Bellisario and 1902 for son Ettore.
I am wondering if anyone can locate anything further on this family.
I do not know where in Italy they came from and I would love to know more.

Ettore is the son I follow on the branch of the family tree. I believe he is also referred to in other census as Torino.

Ettore, his father Nicola, and grandfather Bellisario were all born in Italy.
In the U.S. the family remained in Boston, Massachusetts.

Just a few questions...

What is apprx. year of birth for Nicola?

The Children Ettore, Bellisario, Frederico are Nicola's children?

Can you post the 1920 Census for us?

Found the 1920 Census... date of IMMIGRATION is listed as 1900...
for Nicola and Bellisario.

Naturalization date for Bellisario listed on the 1920 Census is 1903.

Son Ettore, looks to have arrived in 1902... Nat. Papers filed in 1919.

Year of birth for Nicola looks to be about 1875

Also found the 1910 Census... as you said, son Ettore listed as "Torino"

On this census you might note that Rosaria seems to be Nicola's second wife. Years of marriage listed is "1" and marriage for Nicola listed as "M2", and for Rosaria "M1"

POSSIBLE (and interesting) manifest for Angelo Liberatore... stone mason

Arriving NY May 1900 (a month before the 1900 census above)
Age is 25
Occupation is stone mason

What is most interesting....
He is traveling with Bellis Liberatore, age 47, who had been in USA before in 1892-1897
This is very close to the date Bellisario listed as his arrival (1890) on the 1920 Census.

If this is your Belisario and Nicola... they were from Pietraferrazzana in Chieti Province.

OH wow I cannot thank you enough Ladies!

Tessa and Laura, Thank you for taking the time to look this family up for me. I had seen the censuses before and the WW1 registrar but never the manifest I scoured that site for great length and I could never locate Bellisario or Nicola(Angelo) and you just did- splendid. Also I knew that this was a second marriage and I did not know who Angelo Nicola's mother was then- YOU have answered this for me! Also my family never knew where in ITALY they came from. Is there any chance that either of you could locate Ettore Liberatore's mother in Italy in his birth document? he would have been born 1901 Italy. Angelo Nicola was his father and I do not know the mother's name since Angelo Nicola was widowed when he married 2nd wife Rosaria in Massachusetts U.S. July 1909. I would suppose it would also have been Pietraferrazzana Italy as well for Ettore Liberatore's birth in 1901.

Oh thank you for the suggestion. And for the finding of another Liberatore manifest.........one other thought just crossed my mind What about in the marriages in Boston Massachusetts records like Laura had found for Angelo N.Liberatore As I know Ettore got married in Massaachussets as well. Perhaps his mothers name is documented there on that record here in U.S.?

I did not locate a marriage record for Ettore

However, I DID find a birth record for a female child born to Angelo N Liberatore in Boston in 1907 (This would be BEFORE the marriage to Rosaria) Mother is listed as Biondonia Vitullo... maybe his first wife? Could she have died in childbirth?
Address was given as Winchester St., Boston.
