My name is Giannella Da Fieno, I am looking for some clarification about my great-grandfather. He was born in Marsiglia, France, in 1846.He incidentally was born there because his family moved from Genova during that convulsionated period. His parents and siblings are born in Genova, so I need to demostrate his italian citizenship. Is there any way I can get that? Is there any law or Treat that would consider him italian, not french? I have not been able to locate a certificate of italian citizenship for him, so I still do not have clear if he is italian or french, or both. <BR>I would appreciate any help or guidance about this issue. All records in Italy are in the town of origin. His birth certificate will identify him as an Italian citizen. Do you know the town or city of origin? Peter
