I have some papers that show these relatives are from San Fele,Potenza,Basilicotta. They emmigated in 1888 to the port of N.Y. They ended up living in Buffalo,N.Y.I cannot find there trip on the boat to the U.S. I looked on Castle Garden website but the info there is very sparse,I cannot afford Ancestery membership.Giovanni Tommasulo was married before when he came here in 1888 ido not know if he brought a wife, I do know he married Angela DeFillipo in Buffalo,N.Y. in1894 I have their marrage cert. fromSt. Anthonys Church. Is there a way I can find out if he brought his other family here,if he had one? Also Angela and John died in 1914 the children were put in a home I found out to of the girls were adopted and taken back to Italy,you think a relative would have taken them is there any way of finding out about them. thank you faith

Thank for your welcome to the site. I am glad to be here. The papers i have are the childrens baptismal papers from the church. I know Giovanni and Angelas childrens names this is his second marriage. These would be my gAunts and gUncles. The first marriage I know nothing,I was just wondering if he came here with his other family or they stayed in Italy.Because there were so many Tomasulos in Buffalo,N.Y. at the time.
I thinkI know Giovannis mothers name was Catherine Radice or Devicci, his fathers name is Pasquale Tommasulo
The 2 chilren who wre adopted were girls
Lucia Tommasulo b nov.19 1908
Mariam Maydolena Tomasulo b Jan 11 1914 this is the year the mother died.
