Postby italian059 » 24 Jan 2012, 01:29

Could someone help to translate this marriage record. The handwriting is really bad. Any info would be appreciated.

Day 17th of the same (month and year as the record before).
Marriage between:
Pietro Ferraro of the deceased Vincenzo and Mattea Ferraro nee xxx (I can't read it; it might be Manzo, but there seem to be two "n"s) and
Vincenza Mondello of the deceased Matteo and of the living Maria Mondello nee Giunta.
Priest Girolamo Vernagallo
Witnesses: Liborio Caruso and Natale Rizzuto

Can someone check it?

I think you are right! I had not seen the dot of the "i", and surname Maringo actually exists in Sicily.
