Need help. Who is dead here?

Postby bottino » 24 May 2012, 22:20

This is an interesting birth record .(Milano) I need help in translating who is dead. I see quandum before the father, and grandfathers. I guess I am curious what the word posthuma means right after the child.
Thanks
Paul

Im sorry, part of the record was cut off when posting on the forum. I am curious about the word "posthuma".
Here is a link I can't make work.

It means the baby was born after father had died. "Postuma"="(born) after death"; "quondam" latin for "deceased"
