I had a person from Brazil contact me asking if I could help in finding out when her Umberto Bortotto emmigrated to Brazil.

Umberto was born:
10 October 1867
Susegana,Treviso,Italy

Umberto's parents were Giuseppe Bortotto and

Giovanna

Any information would be appreciated.

Researching in the parishes of Cimetta, Soffratta, Vazzola, Mareno di Piave, Rai, Colabrigo, Formeniga, Fontanelle, ect.
Also Valle di Cadore, Venas, Cibbiana, Vodo, Vintigo, Domege, Pieve di Cadore. Also Provaglio Sopra & Sotto (BR)

but:

Chegada:18/04/1890 Parentesco: SOZINHO
Família: 00891 Livro: 020 página 068


for bad luck the ship's manifest is wrong

but I believe that the surname could be Bortotto, mispelled in Bortollo...
