Looking for information on Carlo (Raphael?) Barbetti born about 1872 in Italy. He married Anita Betti born about 1885 in Italy. Both died in Vineland, NJ. They had 8 known children. Births range from Italy to Alabama and youngest in NJ. (Aldena, Mary, Amelia, Armand, Dino (Tino), Joseph, Marie, and Leon)

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Hi,

from the 1905 arrival manifest for Annita Betti you can see that she was coming from Porretta (Porretta Terme - Bologna province - Emilia Romagna region):

20 january 1905

Betti Annita, age 25, female, married, from Porretta-Bologna to Barney Alabama to join her husband Carlo Barbetti, travelling with children Aldamira? female age 3 and Costanzo male age 1:

the free site Familysearch.org has online the civil registrations for Porretta Terme:

There are currently 3 listings for BETTI in the Italian Phone Book in Porretta Terme :-)

And one for BARBETTI

If you should choose to write to one or more of these "potential" relatives...
