Atto di nascita translation help please

Hello,
I have been working on translating several of the atti di nascita that I have found for my ancestors on the microfilm at the LDS Famly History Center. I am hoping that someone can help me with the last two handwritten lines that appear on several of these documents. Needless to say, I am dealing with bad copies of bad handwriting in a language of which I know little. Would anyone like to guess at what the words in red might actually be?

"Letto il presente atto a tutti intervenuti lo ha muo sottoscritto il solo dichiarante avando i testimoni manisittado nsu sapere sottoscrivere."

I realize that these lines are administrative in nature and don't really have any genealogical significance, but I am trying to get better at translating these documents so any help would be appreciated.

Hi Donna,

I also have been working through similar acts. I am just learning Italian, but I believe it means:

I read the act to all present, it is undersigned only by me, the declarant and witnesses are unable to write.

I know you have some mis-spelled words, but can't correct them for you. I know the given translation is not exact, but I think it does express the content. There are others here who are much better at this, but, I couldn't resist "trying out" my translation skills.

Hope it helps. I know someone else will answer and correct me as neeed.

Thank you for your help. I think you are close... probably very close... but I'm sure the declarant could write. He signed the document. In fact, according to the birth record he was the "capo cantoniere governativo."

I did figure out one more word though. I've only been working on these two lines for two days now! Here is my latest version:

"Letto il presente atto a tutti intervenuti lo ha muo sottoscritto il solo dichiarante avando i testimoni manisittado non sapere sottoscrivere."

1. "Letto il presente atto a tutti intervenuti" = I read the present act to all

I think avando is avendo (having)

2. "lo ha muo sottoscritto il solo dichiarante avando i testimoni manisittado"

3. "nsu sapere sottoscrivere" is "non saper sottoscrivere" = not know how to write

If the act is signed by the town official and the declarant, I think it says "I read the present act to all (taking part in the act) and it is signed my me (official) and declarant, the witnesses not knowing how to write.

Part of my problem is that words like manifestato and avendo are not in my Italian Dictionary. Looks like I need a better dictionary.

If I may, I would like to make another request for help. I've almost got this thing completely translated. This will be a first for me so I am very happy about it. There are still a couple of details that I would appreciate help with.

1. First of all, the time of day. I know that ante meridiane means afternoon. This document says something like "po meridiane" or maybe "qu meridiane." Can anyone tell me what the word actually might be and does it mean before noon?

2. Also, there is a very interesting description of the mother. Here is my best guess: "Iaconis Anna Maria donna di Casa (or Capo) Suo (or Luo) moglie, Suolui (or Luolui) conavente." Anyone care to hazard a guess? I can tell you that the home that they lived in was two steps away from a church/convent.

Any insight would be much appreciated.

ANTEMERIDIANE(A.M.) hours are from 24.00 last to 12.00 hours;
POMERIDIANE (P.M.) hours are from 12.00 to 24.00 hours...

Iaconis Anna Maria, donna di Casa (housewife) Suo =Sua (of he/husband) moglie (wife), Suolui =seco lui (with he) conavente=convivente ( cohabiting) .
