Surname De Mayo ( DeMayo)

Hello, I need help with the following, my ancestors left Italy (napoli) back in the late 1800\'s, last name De Mayo, I am trying to find, birth or death information on the De Mayo\'s that either stayed in Italy or Migrated, ( country they Migrated to VENEZUELA), at or around 1893 , is there any way anyone can help me, my great grand fathers name was Nicolas ( or Giusseppe) De Mayo, great Grand Mother Olympia De Mayo, Great aunt Santa De Mayo, Grand FAther Genaro De Mayo (born in Venezuela), please help me find any information on my ancestors !!!. Thank you very much.

In Italy all records are in the town of origin. Since you apparently do not know the town of origin then I can sugeest that you go to www.paginebianche.it and insert De Mayo in the first line and the following citiies and towns in the third line and then click Cerca each time you change cities and you will get the names of the persons De Mayo in that town. In Italy there are are only5 De Mayo surnamed persons. The following towns in the third line are PRESICCE (PugLIA REGION_, rOMA (LAZIO REGION),gROSSETO (tUSCANYREGION),nAPOLI ((CAMPANIA REGION AND cASERTA (cAMPANIA REGION. yOU CAN WRITE TO THESE PEOPLE AND ASK THEM IF THEY ARE RELATED TO YOUR FAMILY SINCE THERE IS NO KNOWLEDGE OF EWHAT TOWN THEY CAME FROM. sHJOULD YOU DISCOVER THE NAME OF THE TOWN OF YOUR FAMILY IN iTALY THEN PLEASE LET ME KNOW. iF YOU DO NOT KNOW THEN WRITE TO THESE PEOPLE AND ENCLOSE A SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE AND A DOLLAR FOR STAMPS AND WRITE IN iTALIAN OR ENGLISH IN SIMPLE SENTENCES SINCE ENGLISH IS THE SECOND LANGUAGE IN iTALY. pETER

Peter , when I write to Italy , to the addresses on the Paginebianche.it web page how do I write the addresses ? I know it sounds stupid that I ask about it , but I am a little confused . <BR> <BR>81100 Caserta (CE) - Via Galilei Galileo, 10-----> this is the way one of the addresses show , I hope you can assist me on this situation\'//

Name, Postal code, Name of city or Town, Province (Caserta is province and so is Napoli), Region and Italy. Peter
