Mori Family

Hello,
I'm new to this site. I'm looking for information about my family. The last name is Mori. My grandfather, Giacamino came to New York as a young boy with his uncle in the 1930's. He faught in WWII as a Marine. My aunt tells me they came from Naples but there's not a lot of solid info. I'm planning a trip to Rome in November and would love to find our family and visit with them.
My grandfather had 2 brothers and 2 sisters, I believe. One brothers name was Phillipe and I'm not sure of the other. The one sister's name was Theresa, they nicknamed her tangerine. They all made it to N.Y.
My grandfather married my grandmother Stella DeLaney in N.Y. and they had 5 children. Raphaelia, Phillip, Jack, Lucia and John. They lived in Brooklyn until my grandfather passed away in the mid 50's.
Can someone help direct me or does any of this sound familiar to anyone?

Are these records pertaining "your" Giacomino? If this is the correct person then he was born in NY...

To find anything in Italy you MUST know the name of the town they were from (born or married). To find that you MUST do the US part of the ssearch first. Immgration entry record, naturalization records etc.
Then when you know where you have to go it will be easy from then.

Hi Lara,
Thank you so much. I believe your information is correct. I talked to my aunt and I had it wrong. It was HER grandfather that came from Italy. Not mine. So it was my grandfathers father that is from Italy. Can you get information about James Mori's parents?
