Looking for birth record

Hi,
I am looking for my great grandmas birth record. Her name is Rosaria Maiuri/Mauiri/Mauri (Not sure about spelling of last name) Birth date of 11 Oct 1899. Her father is Luigi Maiuri and mother is Carmela Peri/Pieri. I have a copy of her marriage certificate from Buffalo New York, that states she was from Montemaggiore Belsito, Palermo, Italy. I have looked thru a lot of Italy, Palermo, Termini Imerese, Civil Registation 1862-1910 and do not see her listed. If she is not listed in that Comune does it mean she was born somewhere else? My great grandfather, her husband Rosario Ferrara born 7 Sept 1892, father Domenico Ferrara and mother Maria Peri/Pieri was listed in the same Comune and I found his birth record. They are supossedly 1st cousins because there mothers were sisters. I am not sure where else to look. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Went through the indexes looking for Rosaria birth or any of her siblings didnot see any children listed parents Luigi or Carmela Peri for the parents are listed in the indexes.
Is it possible that Carmela Peri was not married in Italy and that Rosaria birth name is Peri (the father not being recgonized on the birth act. What year were Rosario and Rosaria married? Do you have a shipmanifest for Rosaria? Did Carmela Peri come to the USA?

Hi Marty,
In the 1930 census it states Rosaria/Sara(she changed her name)Ferraro came over from Italy in 1902. She would of beeen about 3 years old. I cannot find any immigration records that match up with her name, her moms name, or her husbands name. I do have a copy of her marriage certificate which I will try to attach. I do know all of my Italian ancestors lived in Buffalo New York until my great grandparents moved to California. I have found the 1940, 1930 state census with them, also 1925 New York census that shows her mom Carmela Mauri living with her. In some of the directories for Buffalo her mom Carmela Mauri is listed as widowed so I believe her father Luigi Mauri died in Italy but do not know when. Is it possible they are from another town by Montemaggiore Belsito and then moved there later?

Hi, with Maiuri surname no birth records in Montemaggiore Belsito; I searched from 1894 to 1899.
But I believe that this record could be abt Carmela Peri, with children: Pietro Peri and Rosaria Peri (3 old) and joining at sons... unreadable...

On the shipmanifest it says single mother going to Ralston Pa to see sons Matteo and Rosario but on the census it says widowed
