Would someone be able to translate this marriage record? It is for Ara? Seina and Mariann Gendusa. Parents of the groom are Vencenti Seina and Rosa Malcaluso, my Great Great Grand parents. It is difficult to read the parents of the bride.
Thank you, Barbara
This is what I can decipher:
Dated April 29, 1878. The banns were on the 21st, the 23rd, and 28th.
Groom: Erasamo Seina, son of Vincenzo Seina and Rosa Macaluso. They were spouses of the town of Capaci. (if you check the index, Erasamo's first name is clearly written there).
Bride: Marianna Gendusa, the daughter of deceased Gregorio Gendusa, and living Maria Giuseppa Mufio(?) Pantaleo who were, at one time, spouses of the town of Clxxx?
Witnesses were:
(Maestro) Vincenzo Conti and (Maestro) Antonino Guzzetta. The title maestro just means that they were masters of whatever their occupations or trades were.
